Summer Schedule

Our priest-in-charge, The Very Rev. Tracey Lind, will preach on June 18, June 25, July 9, July 30, August 13, August 27, and September 3.  Our seminarian, Ingrid Jacobson will preach on September 11.

Our 2023 worship season will be enriched by a number of outstanding guest preachers.

July 2 – The Rev. Jennifer Daly

Jennifer Daly is a deacon who serves as the Chaplain and a teacher at the Epiphany School in Boston, She co-founded the school 25 years ago. It is an Episcopal school that enrolls children from under-resourced neighborhoods. She left Epiphany for 12 years to co-found Bridge Boston Charter School and work as its Principal. She and her husband Michael have 4 children, live in Eastham in the summers, and love St. James the Fisherman. Jennifer’s patio conversation topic will be “The Charter School Debate.”

July 16 – The Rev. Joseph Wallace-Williams

Joseph Wallace-Williams is the Rector of The Church of St. Luke and the Epiphany in Philadelphia, PA. He has also served as Associate Rector at St. Peter’s Church in St. Louis and Grace-St. Luke’s Church in Memphis. Before attending seminary at the University of the South’s School of Theology, July 23, Joseph was a member of the Holy Cross Monastery in West Park, NY, serving as guest master. In his ministry, Joseph combines a passion for social justice, hospitality and Benedictine spirituality.

Joseph will be joined in Wellfleet by his soon-to-be husband, The Rev. Christopher Decatur. His patio conversation topic will be an exploration of the “Dark Night of the Soul.”

July 23 – The Rev. Henry Hudson

Henry Lee Hudson was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. He graduated from Tulane University in 1974 with a degree in Classical Languages and earned his Master of Divinity from Nashotah House in 1977. He was ordained to the diaconate and priesthood that same year in the Diocese of Alabama.

Henry served parishes in Mississippi for sixteen years before being called as Dean and Rector of Trinity Cathedral in Little Rock, Arkansas. In 2007, he became the rector of Trinity Church, New Orleans.

Retired in 2016, Henry relocated to his family home outside Selma, Alabama. There he served as a part-time Priest-Associate at St. Paul’s Selma. He is a frequent speaker to Civil Rights tour groups about the Episcopal church during the Selma Civil rights movement.

Henry will be joined in Wellfleet by his wife Mary. His patio conversation will be about the Episocpal Church and the Civil Rights movement.

August 6 – The Rev. Dr. Margaret Bullitt-Jonas

Margaret Bullitt-Jonas is an Episcopal priest, author, retreat leader, and climate activist. She has been a lead organizer of many Christian and interfaith events about care for Earth, and she leads spiritual retreats in the U.S.A. and Canada on spiritual resilience and resistance in a climate emergency. Her co-edited book, Rooted and Rising: Voices of Courage in a Time of Climate Crisis, is a collection of multifaith essays by environmental activists. has been arrested in Washington, D.C., and elsewhere to protest expanded use of fossil fuels. She serves as Missioner for Creation Care (Episcopal Diocese of Western Mass. & Southern New England Conference, United Church of Christ) and Creation Care Advisor (Episcopal Diocese of Mass.). Her website, RevivingCreation.org, includes blog posts, sermons, books, videos, and articles. During the patio conversation, Margaret will discuss creation care and what we can actually do as individuals and as the church.

August 20 – The Rev. Adrian Robbins- Cole

Adran Robbins-Cole has been the rector of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Wellesley, MA since September 2013. Adrian was born and educated in England, though he did spend five years living in Wilton, Connecticut, with his family as a boy. He received his undergraduate degree from the London School of Economics and after graduating spent several years working as an investment banker in London. He then attended seminary at Ripon College, Cuddesdon in Oxford, and received a Master’s Degree in Theology from Oxford University. His time at seminary included a year spent on exchange at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California, where he met his wife Sarah who is from Vermont. Sarah is also an ordained Episcopal priest & serves as the Associate Rector for Youth & Family at St. Andrew’s, Wellesley. Adrian and his wife have two adult children, William and Elizabeth. Adrian enjoys reading, running, history, painting, and the family’s lakeside cottage in Maine. During the patio conversation, Adrian will lead us in a discussion entitled: “Adam Smith: Capitalism, Faith and Economics.”
