Summer Schedule
Our priest-in-charge, The Very Rev. Tracey Lind, will preach on June 23, July 7, July 21, August 4, August 11, August 18, September 1, and September 8.
Our 2024 worship season will be enriched by a number of outstanding guest preachers.
June 9 – The Rev. Priscilla Wood
Priscilla Wood was ordained in 1979, after graduating from the General Theological Seminary in New York. She served parishes in New Jersey, New York, Ohio, and Massachusetts, retiring from St. Andrew’s in Framingham in 2007. Since retirement, she has done interim ministry, enjoyed her six grandchildren, and traveled with her husband, Stewart, to India, Africa, the British Isles, France, Italy, and the Galapagos. She lives in Hingham, MA in the winter and in Wellfleet during the summer.
June 16 – The Rev. Brenda Husson
Brenda Husson retired in 2023 as the Rector of St. James’ Church in Manhattan, a position she held for over 26 years. A graduate of Union Theological Seminary in 1983, all of her ministry was in the Diocese of New York, in parishes of various styles, sizes and demographics. Brenda and her husband Tom Faulkner (sculptor and retired Episcopal priest) moved from New York City to Eastham, where they are happily settling in with their two dogs in their renovated family home. Their son Christopher lives in Rochester, NY with his two dogs. Brenda first came to St. James the Fisherman as a teenager when her family spent their vacation in East Orleans. She is always delighted to be here.
June 30 – The Very Rev. Peter Elliot
Peter Elliott is a priest of the Anglican Church of Canada. Hailing from the Niagara Region of southern Ontario, his ministry has included leadership within the Anglican communion for the full inclusion of LGBTQ people and strong advocacy for a spirituality that promotes social and environmental justice. A long-time resident of Vancouver British Columbia, Peter served as Dean of Christ Church Cathedral (1994-2019) and currently is a coach and consultant in private practice. He teaches at Vancouver School of Theology, is a featured writer on arts and culture in the Anglican Journal-the national newspaper of the Anglican Church of Canada and enjoys working with the Dean of Portland, Oregon, the Very Rev. Nathan LeRud as co-host of the podcast The Gospel and Musical Theatre. Peter’s husband Thomas Roach is an artist working primarily in textiles.
The morning’s patio conversation topic will be: Pilgrimage and Homecoming: a conversation with Thomas Roach and Peter Elliott
Peter and Thomas’s visit to New England coincides with Peter’s 70th birthday and includes time with family, friends from his seminary Episcopal Divinity School, and friends he and Thomas made through the North American Deans’ Conference—including Tracey and Emily. In conversation Thomas and Peter will seek to engage participants in an exploration of themes of pilgrimage and homecoming, with particular attention to the spirituality of geography and place.

July 14 – The Rev. Jennifer Daly
Jennifer Daly is a deacon who serves as the Chaplain and a teacher at the Epiphany School in Boston, She co-founded the school 25 years ago. It is an Episcopal school that enrolls children from under-resourced neighborhoods. She left Epiphany for 12 years to co-found Bridge Boston Charter School and work as its Principal. She and her husband Michael have 4 children, live in Eastham in the summers, and love St. James the Fisherman.
July 28 – The Rev. Edwin Johnson
The Rev. Edwin Daniel Johnson is the Director of Organizing at the Episcopal City Mission in the Diocese of Massachusetts. Edwin is a lifelong Episcopalian raised at St. John’s and St. James Church in Roxbury, MA. He is a graduate of Tufts University and later Church Divinity School of the Pacific. He has served as a parish rector and community organizer. Most recently his ministry has included work with Prophetic Resistance Boston, an affiliate of the Massachusetts Community Action Network. He is also the Chair of the Episcopal Church’s group on Beloved Community and a member of the Working Group on Truth, Reckoning, and Healing.
Edwin has a deep love and passion for the music, dance, and cuisine of Latin America and the Caribbean. He is an avid dancer and teaches and performs Latin, Brazilian and African Dance with Moves and Vibes dance company. He also enjoys training and participates in weightlifting competitions. He spends the rest of his time with friends, family, his wife Susan Lenn Johnson, and their sons Francisco and Santiago.
August 11 – The Rev. Canon Michael Delaney
Michael is the Chaplain to Bishop Provenzano and the Diocesan Canon Precentor (Canon for Liturgical & Sacramental Life) for the Diocese of Long Island. One of his loves is guiding those preparing for membership in the Episcopal Church through Adult Baptism, Confirmation, and Reception. Previously Michael served as the Vicar of the Cathedral of the Incarnation, Garden City, the Interim Dean of Trinity and St. Philip’s Cathedral in Newark, New Jersey, Rector of the Church of Saint Andrew, Staten Island, NY, and Director of Pastoral Care at Christ Episcopal Hospital in Jersey City, NJ. When he’s not hanging out on the Cathedral Close or traveling around our diverse diocese, Michael can be found cooking, playing piano, or just relaxing with good friends.
August 25 – The Rev. Brian Raiche
Brian Raiche is the Rector of St. Mary of the Harbor in Provincetown. He arrived on the Cape this past September. Brian was ordained for the Roman Catholic Church of Albany, NY in 1995 and received as an Episcopal Priest in 2015. In addition to serving as Rector, Brian is the Director of Development for the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts and President of Cornerstone Fundraising- a leading religious development firm in the greater Boston area. Brian lives in Provincetown with his husband Loren Lee. They just celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary this past October. They are both avid musicians. Brian is an accomplished pianist and organist and Loren is a professional violinist.
September 15 – The Rev. Dr. William W. Rich
William Rich has most recently been the Transition Director at Bethany House of Prayer in Arlington, MA. Retiring after serving more than fifteen years in various capacities at Trinity Church, Copley Square, Boston, Bill became the Interim Rector at the Church of St. Mary of the Harbor, Provincetown in 2022-2023. William received his B.A. magna cum laude from Williams College, his M.Div. from Yale Divinity School, and his Ph. D. in the Psychiatry and Religion Program from Union Theological Seminary. During and after his doctoral work, Bill also taught at the Blanton-Peale Institute in NYC and at UTS. From 1980-1999, he served parishes in Maryland and as the Chaplain and Lecturer in Philosophy and Religion at Goucher College. During those years, he also served as the dean of the school for deacons in the Diocese of Maryland, and taught preaching at St. Mary’s (RC) Seminary in Baltimore.
September 22 – The Rev. Peter Olsen
